Maison Louis Carré was designed by Alvar Aalto and Elissa Aalto as the art collector’s private residence and a space for displaying art works. Located in Bazoches, 40 km southwest from Paris, the house is now open for public tours. It is also used as a unique exhibition space, where art and design are fused with the modernist interiors.
